A: If your present web hosting provider can no longer fulfill the necessities of your web site, or when you suffer from constant downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the customer support staff to reply to you, it may be a smart idea to switch your web hosting provider, i.e. to move all the files for your websites together with your databases from your present provider to your future provider. At Purpini, we are aware that this can be difficult and time–consuming. For this reason, we will do all that for you at no cost!Our skilled technical team members will migrate your website content from your present provider to us. Our techs have got a lot of experience migrating web sites and are able to take care of anything – from a typical WordPress–driven weblog or Joomla^™–powered website, to an extremely elaborate, custom–built application.

A: While we can’t give you an exact ETA, because there are a lot of factors, including the size of the web files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll do our very best to migrate your web site within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (if the content is not very large).

A: We will require the login details for your current web hosting provider’s Control Panel as well as the web site’s name (domain name).

A: Your website will continue to work exactly like it did before with your former hosting provider. After we are done with the migration, your website will be configured to work on our system and we’ll alert you to preview it. If it is functioning correctly, all you will need to do is edit the name server resource records pertaining to your domain. Your web site will be transferred to us without any downtime whatsoever.

A: While we migrate your content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the transfer at all. We will not touch base with them in any way.

A: Yup. We support all standard Linux–based web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–based web hosting platforms, because we don’t offer Windows web hosting services ourselves.Furthermore, we do not support proprietary web site creation and administration interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
